I live in a fridge
or better, I'd love to live there. It is meanwhile so hot here in Prague that I really miss going to the beaches (lovely Warnemünde...)
Yeah I have had a nice time since last entry. Having been in Germany another two times and actually was swimming in the Blatic Sea and was a little sunbathing on the beach. So I think that was the portion of beach I got for this year...
Some interesting other activities??? Well, I spent again ONE weekend in Prague and enjoyed a lot being part of the parties I always here about when I come back here Sunday nights and everyone is totally exhausted. But these days the World Cup is actually what we schedule around everything else. After I was in Hamburg two weeks ago I got the fever as well. I tell you, I never loved my home country DEUTSCHLAND as I love it now!!! (by the way DEUTSCHLAND is the German way to say GERMANY, but I don't blame you you are not the first asking that) We are just the best place to be right now. I seriously loved it. Even that much that I have to head to Berlin next weekend to celebrate the final. Whoever is gonna play against us there. (Well, or whoever is playing generally)
What else can I tell you? Here in Prague we have a big screen at Old Towns Square where we and my mates spent almost all our spare time to drink a Czech speciality while watching the matxh and the crowd getting crazy. Did you know that Coreans are literatly crazy about football. The really rocked the place (with their children voices you know from cartoons). They were probably the coolest supporters I saw so far!
So dudes, and meanwhile I managed to organize some pics to show you around a little. Some more will come but I start a little belated but now!!! It is just a bunge of people I dont know but

had a lot of fun with one party-night. Except the second from left, Will, my room mate from the US and the second from the right, Gianni, my room mate from Italy. Well, and this dead body on the left is Richie from New Zealand, the country I am gonna invade in 2009. And in the golden middle we have the lovely Claire O'Hara. I fell for her when I heard her adorable British accent. Unique!!!
Last week by the way, I had visit from Canada. Kelly a friend I met on Iceland was here for a couple of days. And I think she liked it here. Especially the beer... And now she is celebrating reunion with other fellow erasmus students in Roskilde...
But more about me :-)
Last weekend I was again in good old Germany to do some Red Cross stuff. This time it was a state-wide competition of Youth Red Cross groups being active in schools. Best weather conditions ever and Christian having such a great board and especially Ronny (blue Shirt)

that my work was just a small opening speech and the winners ceremony. And afterwards heating up the dancefloor with some nice disco foxes and of course all the other groups.
This week almost being over and I hardly caught up sleep. But since I bought a fan I can at least fall asleep again. But a new entry would not be correct without a little Czech story, would it? So we met yesterday evening for dinner with a lot of trainees. Ten people, nine nationalities and a Czech Restaurant. Prices as ususal very good and since I am on a healthy trip I ordered a Greak salad which I thought would be a Greek salad. But next to the impolite staff there (I should stop mentioning that...) my salad neither had olives nor feta nor chillies. Actually it was a mixed salad. But some one told me I should be happy since there were at least cucumbers and tomatoes inside...
Looking forward to tonight. Moving out party behind the moon. But as a reward for each who is going there, they will provide a barbecue... yamyamyam. So I am definitly in...
Well, and tomorrow is not only Friday, it is going to be another step for my team to head to Berlin :-D

Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!
that's the goalkeeper's name of the team from Trinidad and Tobago. E&E from Brno were our guests this weekend here in Prague. So I was having a boy in my bed again ;-) but, ladies and gentlemen, TWO (2) blankets!!! After a wonderful scrambeled egg breakfast we decided to have lunch afterwards and met up with some people from Mexico (having SIX time 2 World Cup tickets in their luggage!!!) in another restaurant located in the... basement. And after this Czech delicous Czech meal we went to Letna park to throw the frisbee a little bit. But on the way up there G remembered that there was a match ofthe Czech national team and we figuered out that it was only five minutes away from the beergarden we just joined. (Yes we needed some refreshment after climbing the hillto the park). Well, so I had to move to Prague to join my first international football match. And Jack!
And I had to move to Prague to discover why people think cheap is shit (by the way the ticket was only 11 EUR but neither the match nor the seats were bad!). I bought the worst fish fingers ever. I thought I know how they have to look like and how they are. So there was no danger in buying cheap ones. Yes, that might work in Germany but here things are different. Preparing dinner with a friend of mine she must have thought I was bitten by a shark when I tried them. NEVER by products from EUROSHOPPER! They are cheap (not even cheaper) and at least not a bit what I expected it to be...
And the Ukraine was recommended me as a place where man (sorry for those not speaking German) should go! I am already making a new list with countries to visit. Right now we have China, some safe country in Africa (any special recommendations?), USA and now the Ukraine. Additional plans for moving to Estonia and New Zealand are made up as well. But I am still open for more ideas... :-)
Oh, and I hope those of you having had a bank holiday on Monday enjoyed it. I didn't... (another reason to go back to good old Germany)
Take care...

A sad week
cause he is gone now! Last Tuesday was the real last beer with Didi. After already about 23 last beers the days before. Now he is back home and I have a reason more to go back to Iceland :-)
And I will get a salary raise. Well, or at least I will try to get a danger bonus. Why? Because office work IS dangerous. Especially if you share the space with a 3 year old boa constrictor. Is he working in a zoo??? No!!! Just the girlfriend of my boss does not like a snake near their 4 week old baby. So I have to deal with that now. GREAT!!!
But it feels nice, very soft skin. Kind of cool and silky. And so many muscles. Luckily it is still not fully grown. But 1,5 meter is still enough to make me having a look if the cage is still locked before I start working!
And weekend is there. Isn't that great? YES it is. Even the sun started shining again. I just hope it will stay a little. Oh, and poor me. I have to work on Monday again.Maybe I move back to good old Germany.
Germany by the way and german speaking Switzerland. Those are the places Will would move to if he has to stay somewhere outside the US. "The Germans just love the Americans! They are so nice everywhere! I fucking love this country!!!" Zu Gast bei Freunden fällt mir dazu nur ein :-)))
Enjoy yourself ;-)
